Weaver Vale Housing Trust workers raise funds for Movember

FUNDRAISERS at the Weaver Vale Housing Trust have raised more than £600 for the Prostate Cancer Charity after growing facial hair throughout November.

A team of seven Weaver Vale Housing Trust staff nicknamed the ‘handlebar boys’ were sponsored by their colleagues to grow moustaches for the annual charity fundraiser ‘Movember’.

“We all started November clean shaven and have been working hard to perfect our moustaches over the month. We’ve had a few strange looks but lots of support from our colleagues and it’s certainly all been worth it for such a good cause,” said David Mountfield.
