HOUSING trust staff are celebrating achieving the latest maintenance qualifications enabling them to provide the best possible service to their customers.

Thirteen electricians, a surveyor and a team manager from Weaver Vale Housing Trust have gained two City and Guilds certificates and the latest regulations for safety, inspecting electrical installations.

In addition, the team completed an in-house training course presented by Aico Smoke Alarms, which means it is registered as an official trained installer of Aico’s products.

Graham Roberts, director of property services for Weaver Vale Housing Trust, said: “The fantastic success by such a significant number of our electricians by gaining these qualifications is a testament to their commitment to their work.

“The trust is strongly committed to providing a wide range of training for all of its trade staff to help them develop and achieve the very highest standards in their work. This not only benefits our staff members but also our customers as they receive a higher level of service, and the trust itself as it is able to build a well trained, highly motivated, and committed workforce.”
