Heavy traffic in the city centre is building during rush hour due to roadworks on Watergate Street.

Temporary traffic lights are in place near the Watergate bridge, allowing traffic to travel in only one direction at a time.

This is having severe consequences for vehicles using Nuns Road where there is currently a long tailback.
