Two men have admitted waste offences brought by Natural Resources Wales.

David Thomas McCarrick, 50, of Morriston Farm, Green Lane, Sealand on Deeside, admitted that in November of last year he permitted controlled waste, wood, roofing tiles, green vegetation, and household waste to be deposited on land at the farm without an environment permit.

He admitted a second charge of operating a regulated facility – depositing and sorting waste – without a permit.

Co-defendant Patrick McDonagh, of Hamilton Avenue in Sandycroft, admitted that not being a registered carrier, he transported controlled waste, namely roof tiles, roof batons and felt at Morriston Farm.

At Flintshire magistrates court at Mold on Friday (June 10), the case was adjourned for sentence.
