CHESTER and District Federation of the Blind is looking for more volunteers to be IT ‘buddies’ teaching blind and partially-sighted people how to use a computer, in the afternoons at the Wolverham Community Centre in Ellesmere Port and the Hope Centre in Blacon, near Chester.

The Cybereye project involves IT buddies working on a one-to-one basis with the learner, using accessible software. Full training will be provided.

If you are interested, have any spare time in the afternoon and would like to know more about becoming a volunteer, please contact Steve Andrews on 01925 827285.
