VOLUNTEERS are invited to spruce up for spring at their village church.

St Alban’s Church in Tattenhall is holding a day of spring cleaning and maintenance onSaturday, March 20 and the church is asking for volunteers to come and give them a hand.

The jobs will be both in the church and the church yard and will vary from painting the gates to polishing pews.

Refreshments of soup and snacks will be provided.

The day will begin at 9.30am.
