TATTENHALL residents can attend a recruitment workshop run by Cheshire West and Chester Council and Chester Community Action.

On Wednesday June 29, the rural west area team is running a workshop at the Barbour Institute to support parish councils and voluntary and community groups in the search for volunteers.

The session, which will run from 6pm until 7.30pm, will cover the areas of preparing for recruitment, developing a recruitment process to suit your organisation, identifying a variety of ways to support and retain volunteers, and managing volunteers’ expectations.

After the workshop there will be half an hour for people to network and ask questions.

Tea and coffee will be served form 6pm.

There will be a nominal charge for the workshop of £10 per delegate with bursaries offered for small groups who wish to attend.

For more information and to obtain a booking form, please email Chester Voluntary Action on enquiries@chesterva.org.uk.

Another workshop will be held at Saughall Uniformed Services Hall on July 14.
