VISION Support’s Mobile Resource Unit which offers a wide range of services to anyone with sight loss will be at Vision Support, Whipcord Lane, Chester, next month.

On Wednesday, May 12 trained advisors will be on hand to give advice on the latest equipment, which will be displayed on the vehicle from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

These include low vision aids and specialised text readers, as well as practical items that can enhance the quality of life and maintain the independence of those with a visual impairment. The vehicles are designed for easy access for people with disabilities including a removable ramp for wheelchair use.

The mobile resource unit will also be at Tarvin Community Centre, Meadow Close, on Thursday, May 20 from 10am until 3.30pm and at the Countess of Chester Hospital on Wednesday, May 26 from 9.30am until 3pm.
