A victim was left with ‘serious injuries’ after being beaten in an alleyway in Winsford .
The 39-year-old man was attacked as he walked between Nixon Drive and Knights Grange Fields.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which happened at about 8pm on August 20.
He was taken to hospital after being hit across the head and face.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “The victim was walking along the alleyway which leads between Nixon Drive and Knights Grange Fields when he was attacked.
“He was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit on the head and face.”
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident take place or have any information to help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 286 of August 23.
