WEAVER VALE MP Mike Hall MP has met Ian Dale from the Weaver Valley Development Project for a long discussion about the regeneration work being done throughout the Weaver Valley Regional Park.
Afterwards they walked out along Dutton Locks to see part of the development at first hand.
Mr Hall said: “The Mersey Valley Regional Park is a very exciting project incorporating improved access to the countryside of Cheshire, conservation and economic redevelopment and social inclusion.
“The Mersey Valley Regional Park is a rich vein of environmental countryside that runs through my Weaver Vale constituency.
He added: “It includes the Frodsham Gateway, Pickerings Cut, Dutton Lock, Acton Bridge Locks, revive sites at Weaverham and Wallerscote, Winnington Urban Village, ancient woodlands in Northwich, the Weaver Navigation, Marshall Arms Nature Reserve and the Riversdale Footbridge.
“I m delighted to be associated with the Mersey Valley Regional Park. This is a real gem on the doorstep for my constituents to enjoy.”
