NORTHWICH woman Ursula Marrow is preparing to help support research to find a cure for cystic fibrosis by undertaking the challenge of the London Marathon - again!
The 23-year-old marketing coordinator, from Kingsmead, raised £1,600 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust when she ran the race last year, and is hoping to top that this time round.
She said: 'The CF Trust is a very important charity to me. I knew I wanted to run for a charity and researched the different ones and came across the Trust. It's a great cause and also isn't so well known, so I can raise money and awareness at the same time.
'My goal for this year is to raise £2,500. People were really gen-
erous last year and maybe I'll exceed that this time - please sponsor me!'
As well as the funds, the former St Nicholas High pupil Ursula has another target to beat on April 23, her marathon time.
'The first time I didn't know what to expect but I was really encouraged by the unbelievable support from the crowds, family and friends - they got me through,' she said.
'I did it in around five hours 30 minutes but I'm hoping for under five hours this year.'
