Pupils at Mill View Primary School in Upton held a poetry fortnight where children read, performed and wrote poetry.
There was a sponsored event raising money for the school library.
Year 2 teacher Jon Gilbert said: “The event has really raised the profile of poetry within our school with children enthused about sharing and performing poetry.”
Each child was given their own poetry book supplied by the school’s PTA.
