Upton-by-Chester High School is proud to have been designated with Apple Regional Training Centre (RTC) status.

The Apple RTC programme provides teachers with training, expertise and access to best practice to support their use of Apple technology in the classroom.

It brings together experienced educators and experts who provide free and easy access to Apple’s creative learning technologies. The ethos is about sharing learning experiences and knowledge between peers to support, enhance and transform teaching and learning outcomes.

Achieving Apple RTC status is a fantastic accolade for the school. The programme is free and allows the school to share with other teachers the successful iPad implementations it has undertaken.

The school welcomes all those, at whatever stage along their own journey, to see how it does things. Some of the courses on offer will explore how the iPad can work alongside traditional methods to enhance students’ progress in literacy, numeracy, science and languages.
