Year 11 students at Upton-by-Chester High School enjoyed a great celebration of their hard work and the end of a gruelling GCSE exam season at their leavers prom.
The event was held at The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa on Tuesday, July 1. The students had fun filled evening with their friends, eating, dancing and making sure they took lots of photographs.
All the students were transformed into sophisticated party-goers with smart suits and fabulous ball gowns; a world away from their usual school uniform!
Head of media studies, Cara Seery commented: "We wish all the students the best of luck for results day in August and hope they enjoyed their evening."
Headteacher Paula Dixon added: "It was an absolutely fabulous evening and every one of our year 11s did us proud, it was a truly memorable evening!
"They all looked stunning and behaved impeccably – we expect nothing less of Upton High School students! A big thankyou to the staff (especially Ms Seery) students and their parents/carers who made it all possible. Thanks also to the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel staff who were extremely accommodating and looked after us all so well."
