Applied Art students from Glyndwr University will be exhibiting artwork inspired by poems by Dylan Thomas at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold.

The diverse work includes pieces of jewellery, glass, ceramic, wood and multimedia. The public will be welcome to view a variety of innovative designs and craft.

Students in their penultimate year together with MA students have been honing their skills to produce a dynamic show of contemporary artwork. The work on display uses traditional as well as modern art techniques.

Jennifer Barker, Applied Arts lecturer at Glyndwr University, said: "Glyndwr University’s Applied Arts team offers its students the opportunity to engage with contemporary practice, design craftsmanship and technical skills. We hope that the public will enjoy viewing this variety of narrative themed work the students have put together - and that they enjoy viewing this exciting field of visual arts."

The exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday 20 April to Monday 10 May.
