A RECENT graduate from the University of Chester has secured a job at Innes Reid, a leading firm of independent financial advisers, after making a positive impression during his work placement.
Jason Lloyd, 21, from Pembrokeshire, studied for a Business Management BA (Hons) degree at the university which has given him the foundation he needed to pursue a career in financial services.
During his course, Jason secured a five week placement at Innes Reid in Chester and during that period he impressed Innes Reid so much that the company offered him the role of trainee paraplanner on the completion of his degree.
Innes Reid is a well established practice with headquarters in Chester and national clients.
The work based placement gave Jason an excellent insight into the financial services industry and reassured him it was the career path he wished to follow.
Jason said: “I was very pleased to secure a placement at Innes Reid. During my placement, I gained exposure to the various elements of the advice process and an understanding of the working practices, internal systems and procedures of the company.”
