One of the world’s leading journal in public affairs is now being co-edited from the University of Chester.
Professor Phil Harris, the University’s recently appointed Executive Dean of Business, Enterprise and Lifelong Learning and Westminster Chair of Marketing and Public Affairs*, is joint Editor in Chief of The Journal of Public Affairs, which is published by Wiley–Blackwell.
With articles spanning from climate change, government relations and lobbying to community relations, the international journal provides the latest thinking and related research in public policy development and associated communication areas.
Professor Harris, who has been editing the journal since 2000, explained: “The journal encompasses many themes, including issues management, corporate social responsibility and political strategy and marketing.
“It provides an international platform for the latest developments in government relations, public affairs and political marketing, including industry case studies and applied research from leading business schools, research institutions and universities. Forthcoming special issues cover such areas as International alcohol regulation and promotion, cancer care and communication, pressure groups in Latin America and corruption and global leadership ethics.”
He added: “The Editorial Board comprises many leading academic and business professionals from esteemed institutions across the world, and welcomes the submission of papers, briefing, reviews and case studies for publication.”
