Businesses from all over the area have signed up to take part in a major careers fair being hosted by the University of Chester next month.

Many businesses are working with the university’s Business School to highlight the different career paths on offer in the tourism, hospitality and events sectors.

The Business School is staging the careers fair - open to current and prospective students - showcasing the variety of jobs available in the tourism industry. The event takes place at its new Queen’s Park campus on Wednesday, April 20.

Among those already signed up are Chester Race Company, Chester Zoo, Chester Cathedral, ABode Hotel Chester, The Mill Hotel, Marketing Cheshire and the International Festival for Business 2016. The university’s careers service will also be on hand to give advice and answer questions.

The event will feature a series of presentations by key speakers with interesting career paths in the tourism industry.
