TWO Frodsham men stand accused of shouting racist abuse at a man as they subjected him to a violent attack.
The alleged racially aggravated assault was carried out by Aaron Owen, 22, and Paul Quarterman, 24.
Appearing at Chester Crown Court on Monday, both denied the assault occasioning actual bodily harm on September 25 last year was racially aggravated.
They pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of actual bodily harm, while Owen admitted the additional charge of assault by beating of another man on the same date.
They will face trial on the racially aggravated assault charge on April 21.
