FASHION expert Gok Wan was in town to give a makeover to a woman in need.

The TV presenter and a film crew spent three hours in Jason Lea Hairdressing, Lower Bridge Street, enlisting the help of stylists to give the lucky recipient her overhaul for a show to be aired later this year.

The woman’s hair was cut and coloured by Stacey Batchelor.

Gok was in the city filming Channel 4 show Fashion Fix.

He later retired to Oddfellows restaurant and bar in Bridge Street.

Jason Lea said: “We did the colouring for the client and they had their own hairdresser.

“A lot of people wanted his autograph. He was very, very friendly.”

He had earlier been spotted near Habitat in Chester city centre and in Christleton.
