Friends of a Winsford teenager who died following a car crash at the weekend have taken to social media to pay tribute to an ‘amazing person’.

Connor Hull, 17, died when the black Vauxhall Corsa he was driving left the A54 Middlewich Road at Stanthorne and collided with a tree.

Emergency services were called to the scene, near the junction with Birch Lane, at 11.50pm on Saturday to a report of a road traffic collision.

He was taken to hospital where he sadly died as a result of his injuries.

Nobody else was in the vehicle.

Connor’s friends have expressed their shock and sadness on Twitter.

Aaron Beswick tweeted on Sunday: “R.I.P Connor Hull.. Such a shock considering I saw him yesterday.. Everyone's in tears.. This is awful.”
