Travellers have set up camp on playing fields just off Hoole Road.
A convoy of eight caravans and associated vehicles are understood to have arrived on land at Coronation Recreation Ground last night (August 18).
But only four caravans and one van were spotted at the site this morning.
A member of Cheshire West and Chester Council's Gypsy and Traveller Liaison Team has visited the encampment to carry out welfare assessments.
Last week, a group of Travellers left an ‘unauthorised’ camp in Blacon just as an eviction order was being signed off in court.
The convoy had settled on Cheshire West and Chester Council -owned green space off Shelley Road.
They stayed there for four nights before moving on.
