A small group of travellers have taken residence on a supermarket car park in Chester .
Two caravans arrived at Morrisons car park at Bache in Upton , which is operated by Euro Car Parks, on Monday (November 21).
The following day, Travellers left the site and moved to Bumpers Lane on Sealand industrial estate, before moving again on the same day to nearby Sovereign Way.
A spokesman for Cheshire West and Chester Council said a Section 77 notice was issued for Travellers to leave Sovereign Way by 3pm on Wednesday (November 23).
As a result of the eviction notice, Travellers left the site and returned to Morrisons car park in Upton on Tuesday.
There were initially two caravans, but now only one remains.
Morrisons store manager, Karl Andersson, said: “The situation is being dealt with by the bailiffs.
“The police were involved but it is no longer a police matter as they are on private land.
“We have issued them with a notice to move but the notice has now expired.”
