The traffic lights at a busy Chester junction have been broken for more than 24 hours.

A council spokesperson said Cheshire Highways are 'aware' that the lights at the Greyhound Retail Park had been broken since yesterday (Sunday, April 15) due to a mains failure, and that it has been reported to Scottish Power.

The issue was causing some traffic congestion in the area yesterday (Sunday, April 16), although no incidents appear to have been reported.
