Three vehicles have been involved in a collision on the A41 in Backford .
One lane was blocked due to the incident, which is causing delays in the area.
A spokeswoman for Cheshire police confirmed an ambulance had been sent to the scene 'as a precaution'.
"The ambulance service is there assessing if anyone has any injuries, but there are not thought to be any significant injuries," she said.
