PINT-SIZED entertainer Tom Hewson won the day when he let his feet do the talking at a dance festival in Warrington.
The nine-year-old whiz-kid from Wright Avenue, Rudheath, beat off stiff opposition from competitors much older than himself to clinch the top trophy.
Tom, who attends Witton Church Walk Primary School, won three other trophies including one he will share with his couples dance partner Caitlan Butterworth.
Both Tom and Caitlan attend The Elite Dance School run by dance teacher Juliet Harrison, 22, at Lostock Community Centre.
'Tom did so well to win the whole thing. He was in the beginners section but proved he has what it takes to go all the way,' said Juliet.
Other Elite Dancers who did well included Hayley Worrall, 18, from Lostock, who came first in the senior section of street dancing.
Lee Renshaw and Sasha Dorigo also kept the flag flying for North-wich when they came first in the intermediate section.
Lee also came second in street dancing and third for a dance solo.
It was a day to remember for mum-to-be Juliet who set up the school two years ago to give youngsters the chance to try out different dance styles.
Despite being seven months pregnant with her first child, Juliet is still dancing and says the exercise keeps her fit.
