The annual Tilston Wakes event took place over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The event started with a parade which began at the antiques shop led by the Medieval Band, making its way up to The Carden Arms.

Following the choosing of the Lord Mayor Roy Wynne, the crowning of Miss Wakes Paige Horan Davies took place with her flower girl Alice Wynne, who is the great niece of the new Lord Mayor, in attendance.

The parade with the Lord Mayor, Miss Wakes and her attendant in the traditional horse and cart then followed, the band leading the rest of the colourful parade via Rookery Road and Long Lane to Tilston Playing Field where the judging took place.
