A three-vehicle accident is causing congestion for drivers on the Kelsall bypass.

The accident was reported at around 3.30pm today (Friday, September 9) on the A54 near Yeld Lane Farm.

North West Ambulance Service sent an emergency ambulance to the scene and an air ambulance was called, but nobody was taken to hospital.

The crash involved a red Honda Civic, a black Vauxhall Astra and a silver Vauxhall Insignia.

Cheshire Police are at the scene waiting for the vehicles to be recovered.

Traffic is reported to be very slow in the area.

Earlier today, two rapid response vehicles, a doctor and an air ambulance were called to an accident involving a motorcyclist and a Ford Focus on a different stretch of the A54, at Tarvin.
