Collision led to traffic congestion in area

Traffic congestion built up following a three-vehicle collision on the A51 heading out of Chester on Sunday afternoon (July 31).

The accident involved a Ford Focus, a Vauxhall Vivaro and a Volkswagen Golf on the A51 Tarvin Road, Littleton , near to Vicars Cross Golf Club, about 5.10pm.

Nine-year-old boy killed in collision at Elton

North West Ambulance Service deployed a rapid response car but there were no injuries.

However, the road was blocked for a short period of time while the vehicles were recovered causing congestion to build up in the area. The scene was cleared by 6.30pm.
