Thousands of people flocked to the Grosvenor family estate to explore the extensive grounds

ALMOST 4,000 people flocked to the Eaton Estate on Sunday in the spring sunshine.

Children played on the lawns and families picnicked around the lake during one of the hottest days of the year.

Musicians from Chester Wind Band entertained the visitors.

The event – one of four planned for the summer – raised thousands of pounds for the Lions Club of Chester, Flint Lifeboat, The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association - Forces Help and The 3 Villages Project.
