Love or hate Chester on a race day? Well now you can have your say.

CH1ChesterBID have launched a Chester Races survey to gather visitors’ views and their experiences of the city.

Fixtures at the Roodee are as popular as ever, with more than 25,000 people attending City Plate Day on Saturday (July 9).

Chester is often busy from lunchtime onwards as racegoers take advantage of the bars and restaurants, returning later in the evening once all the action down at the course has finished.

Questions on the survey include how you would travel into the city and what you would do to encourage visitors to shop on race days. You can also add your own feedback if there is a particular issue you have.

BID said there were ‘committed to creating positive visitor experiences in Chester city centre’.

You can take the survey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/RaceDays.
