A MAN from Runcorn has been charged with theft after metal was stolen from two houses in Helsby and Frodsham.

The 30 year-old was arrested on Monday, April 19 with two other men, both aged 26, after thefts of scaffolding and a satellite dish pole were reported in Britannia Gardens in Helsby and Talbot Street, Frodsham.

One of the 26-year-olds was cautioned and the other released without charge.

The 30 year-old was charged with two counts of theft and released on bail until his court appearance at Northwich Magistrates Court on May 20.
