A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court, charged with three counts of burglary at separate addresses in Cheshire and Shropshire.

The charges relate to incidents which all occurred on February 11 at addresses in Helsby, Little Sutton and Oswestry in Shropshire.

The boy was arrested on Monday (February 22) and, after questioning, was formally charged with all three offences.

He appeared at West Cheshire Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday) where he was released on conditional bail and is due to appear in front of magistrates again on March 2.
