A TEA PARTY will be held at Crawfords Walk Nursing Home, Chester as part of Bupa’s Communi-tea Week.
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 21 from 2:30pm.
Communi-tea Week is an annual Bupa Care Homes campaign that helps to tackle the problems of isolation and loneliness in older people.
The campaign, which takes place from Monday until April-25, is supported by famous umpire Dickie Bird who said: “Being ‘mugnificent’ and taking part in Communi-tea Week really shows there are people out there that care. You can’t beat a good ‘cuppa’.”
Crawfords Walk Nursing Home invites the local community to join them and make new friends over tea and homemade cakes.
Home manager, Kath Webber added: “Offering a friendly face can make all the difference and we’ll make sure there is plenty of tea and entertainment for all.”
