TATTENHALL Community First Responder Group is looking for people to tee off for charity.

The group of volunteers will be hosting a charity golf day at Aldersey Green Golf Club, Aldersey, on June 24..

The group hosted the same event last year and are encouraging supporters to enter a team, sponsor holes and donate prizes at this year’s event, held on June 24.

It costs £50 to sponsor a hole, and £100 to enter a team of four, which includes tea and coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf and a two course meal after play.

All funds raised will go towards the First Responders Group, unpaid volunteers who respond to 999 emergency calls in the local area.

They are trained to provide basic life support, administer defibrillation and oxygen, and provide first aid and reassurance for a range of conditions.

Over the past year, the group has been instrumental in raising funds to provide public access community defibrillators for Tattenhall and Burwardsley, and have trained village residents and Scout groups in basic life support.
