TATTENHALL councillors are looking into the possibility of having a shelter at the Park following a request.

Comments on a number of planning applications were sent to the planning authority.

The bus shelter at Gatesheath has had a face lift with interior improvements to follow soon.

Dave Evans and Carole Boyd are standing down as parish councillors, and were thanked for the time they have given to the community.

The parish council also thanked former county and city councillors Eveleigh Moore Dutton and Carol Weaver for their hard work prior to local government reorganisation.

The new village sign will be officially unveiled on Monday, April 27 at 2pm, with the Annual Parish Meeting at 7.30pm that day in the Barbour Institute, including presentation of the Village Cup and Young Person’s Community Award.
