A SELL-OUT evening showcasing a vast array of talent raised £1,000 for the Tarporley church tower appeal.

The Tarporley’s Got Talent event saw 26 acts battle it out in front of a packed audience at St Helen’s Church.

Organiser Anne Mcloughlin said: “This was a truly a heart-warming occasion with a tremendous sense of community spirit.”

She added: “There was a stunning debut performance by the Decibellas Ladies Choir, also featured was Charles Macdonald playing his electric guitar, a number of soloists and some young ballerinas.”

The audience had the opportunity to join in throughout the event including a sing along to John Meredith’s camp fire songs and the hits performed by the Inn Crowd.
