A TANDOORI restaurant hosted a fundraising event for cancer research.
The Frodsham Tandoori opened its doors on the high street and welcomed civic dignitaries the mayor of Frodsham, Cllr Pammi Taylor, the town’s deputy mayor, Cllr Geoff Bath, and the mayor of Winsford, Cllr Des Worthington.
Earlier in the Spring, the restaurant won the accolade of best curry in Vale Royal with chef Abdul Hussain, who has about 26 years experience, beating six other competitors.
Frodsham Tandoori owner Abab Miah said: “It has really given us a boost and we are proud of the award”.
MP Mike Hall (Weaver Vale) sent his congratulations to the restaurant for its success in the competition.
