A car was set alight as its owners slept in a nearby home in Ellesmere Port .
The black Vauxhall Astra was parked at the side of the property on Croft Court when it was torched – causing it significant damage – at around 10.45pm on Friday, February 19.
Now police are appealing for information about the suspected arson.
Investigating officer DC Nadine Sturgess said: “A full investigation is currently under way in relation to this incident and we are currently following a number of lines of enquiries.
“As part of our enquiries I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident and believes that they may have information that could assist our investigation.”
