FRESH produce was the order of the day at a community event.
The second Farmers Market took place at All Saints Hall in Hoole, organised by the local branch of Diabetes UK.
The market featured a good selection of fresh produce, as well as hand crafted jewellery, gifts and Fair Trade products.
One of the guests of honour at the occasion was Lord Lyndon Harrison who founjd it so difficult to choose he ended up leaving with a carrier bag full of goods.
The next market is due to take place on November 27 when the guest of honour will be Chester MP Christine Russell.
