FOUR pupils from Dorin Park School in Chester have been crowned consumer champs for Cheshire.
Team-mates Michael Williams, Debbie Markley, Robert Surrey and Claire Sutton beat competition from five other Cheshire teams to claim the trophy and the chance to represent the county at the Trading Standards Institute National final in Manchester in June.
Executive Member for Community and Communications Nora Dolphin said: 'Competitions like the Consumer Challenge Quiz are always exciting, challenging and rewarding.
'My congratulations go to the winning team and I wish them luck in the next stage.'
The Consumer Challenge Quiz, created by Trading Standards, is designed to encourage young people with moderate learning difficulties to improve their knowledge of consumer rights.
It covers topics including age related sales, food hygiene and consumer affairs.
Head of Trading Standards Regulatory Services Ian Luxton, who presented the prizes, said: 'This was a really exciting event and allowed these young people the chance to show how much they really know about consumer issues.'
