ADVENTUROUS teenagers and daring teachers braved rushing rapids and racing rivers during a summer trip.
Students at Helsby High School took time out to try their hands at sailing, canoeing and kayaking at the Budworth Sailing Club near Northwich.
The students from years 7, 8 and 9 enjoyed learning the sports while improving their fitness levels, while students from year eight enjoyed the sessions so much they stayed for another day.
Meanwhile sixth formers and staff travelled to Anglesey to complete filed work tasks for their A level portfolios.
Students enjoyed observing a diverse range of species, including glow worms, in their natural habitats while indulging in the sandy beaches and taking part in quizzes and some much needed time out from revision and studies.
