Two Cheshire dancers have landed their dream jobs as professionals on the 14th series of Strictly Come Dancing.

British and European Youth Latin and Ballroom Champions Chloe Hewitt, from Nomansheath, and AJ Pritchard, from Burleydam in Nantwich, are preparing to strut their stuff with their celebrity partners when the hugely popular show returns to the BBC this autumn.

The talented twosome, who will be joined by fellow new addition Neil Jones, will become the youngest ever professional dancers to appear on Strictly.

Former Bishop Heber High School student Chloe and AJ impressed when they performed on Britain's Got Talent

Executive producer Louise Rainbow said: "We are very excited that three British champions are joining the Strictly family.

"Our viewers are in for such a treat this year and I hope they give our new dancers a big Strictly welcome!”

It was Strictly Come Dancing which inspired Chester-born Chloe, 20, to take up dancing in the first place.

“My childhood dream of being on Strictly Come Dancing is now reality," said the former Bishop Heber High School student.

"The sheer excitement is exhilarating and I cannot wait to be part of the Strictly family.”

While 21-year-old AJ revealed he is 'ecstatic' to be included in the line-up.

Chloe and AJ won one of the biggest championships in the world to become British Open Youth Latin Champions in 2015.

That same year they also became European Youth Latin Champions.

Over their nine year competitive career they have set records by becoming the National Youth Latin Champions for three years in a row from 2012 - 2014 in the two biggest British competitions and uniquely they have been champions in both the Ballroom and Latin syllabuses.

With their wealth of experience, it's likely the pair will get a few '10s from Len' during their time on Strictly.

But their upcoming stint on the contest won't be the first time they've wowed the nation, as they made it through to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent with a sizzling Latin routine in 2013.
