IF YOU are sitting comfortably, then Chester Zoo’s presenters have a treat in store.

The award-winning zoo will mark National Storytelling Week – a national event aimed at promoting the joys of stories and books – with some special readings.

Education presenter Matthew Foster will take time out to tell zoo visitors some fascinating tales from books including How the Jaguar Lost His Voice and The Monkeys Save the Fish.

The storytelling sessions will take place in Spirit of the Jaguar on Saturday, January 26, Sunday, January 27, Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3.

The readings are open to zoo visitors of all ages and will be held at 11.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm on those days. The events are included in normal zoo admission. For opening times and prices contact www.chesterzoo.org
