Stanney Lane in Ellesmere Port was closed for a period due to a vehicle blaze this morning (May 19).
A black cab was well alight near to Ellesmere Port Sports Village.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 9.39 am.
A spokeswoman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said the road was closed while firefighters dealt with the incident using one hose reel, but it has now fully reopened.
There are delays to a Stagecoach bus service due to the fire.
