A HEADTEACHER has congratulated his staff and students on their A-level results.

Headteacher Tony Davidson said: 'We really are pleased. Over the past two years there has been an increase of more than 10% in the overall pass rate which is now 93%.

“To a large degree, these excellent results can be attributed to new procedures which both track students' progress during their courses of study and set each individual clear and challenging targets for improvement,

“Our results reflect both the hard work and commitment of students and the dedication and professionalism of staff. Students will be in a position to move onto the next stage of education or training as planned.

“Congratulations and well done to all.”
