BUSINESSES are being called on to lend their support and celebrate the harvest, farmers markets and a sustainable way of life at the Blackberry Fair.

The fair, held in Whitchurch, will showcase those local artists, crafters or farm producers, or anyone who has an interesting story to tell about sustainability.

To be held on Saturday, October 4, the fair will include the monthly farmers market as well as an Artisans’ Bazaar selling unique, locally-made crafts and a Green Fair to demonstrate and celebrate the moves that people and businesses are making to create a sustainable future.

Organiser Sarah Vaughan said: “Although the fair is being held in Whitchurch we want businesses from Malpas, Tarporley, Kelsall and all over to get involved in the Blackberry Fair.”

If you are an individual, a community group or small business and would like to be involved, please contact Steve Chapman on 07773 047744 or Sarah Vaughan 01948 665336, or come along to the Blackberry Fair information evening on Tuesday August 19 at 7.30pm at the Civic Centre, High Street, Whitchurch.
