Events are taking place across the county this weekend (March 18-20) to support this year's Sport Relief.

Whether you want to walk, skip or run, taking part in Sport Relief 2016 is a great goal to work towards that's all for a great cause too.

Sport Relief Mile - Nuffield Health and Wellbeing Centre, Wrexham Road, Chester

The popular sporting fundraiser kicks off on Sunday, March 20 at 10am and 2pm slots from the gym and participants can opt to take part in either one, three or six mile routes.

Sport Relief Mile - Ellesmere Port Sports Village, Stanney Lane, Ellesmere Port

This takes place on the athletics track at Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Sunday, 20 March at 10am.

Charity fund raisers who take part in this event are being offered a free seat at Cheshire Phoenix's BBL home game against Sheffield Sharks later that day.

Sport Relief Mile - Helsby Community Sports Club, Chester Road, Helsby

Helsby Community Sports Club on Sunday, March 20 at 2pm for the ‘milers’ and 2.15pm for those running the three-mile or six-mile races.

There will also be a chance to view the exciting plans for the relocated sports club which include a new running track.

Entry fees are £7 for adults, £3 for children and £17 for families (two adults and two children).

Complete your challenge around the club's picturesque grounds on the banks of the Dee Estuary.
