SPANISH students have enjoyed their stay with host families in Malpas.

Students from Years 9, 10, 11 and 13 at Bishop Heber High School had visited Spain in October and last month welcomed 27 Spanish counterparts on an exchange trip to England.

The students came from Instituto Bernardo de Balbuena, an academic secondary school which prepares them for university entrance.

While in England for their 10-day stay, they visited Liverpool, Caernarfon, Chester Zoo and Shrewsbury, attended some lessons at Bishop Heber, took part in various games and sporting events and enjoyed the school’s production of Oliver!

This was the 15th Spanish exchange which Jakki Moxon, Bishop Heber’s teacher of Spanish, has organised.
