THE Liverpool Astronomical Society is hosting a star gazing gathering tonight in Delamere Forest.
Starting at 7.30pm, the two-hour event will give visitors the chance to learn about astronomy. Experts will point out star constellations and there may be a chance to glimpse the nearest planets.
Geoff Regan, observatory director at the Liverpool Astronomical Society, said: “If it’s a clear night, one of the most spectacular things you will actually see is the moon.”
The free event will be held at Delamere Forest Visitor Centre from 7.30-9.30pm.
